In 2000 and 2001 I was part of a research project funded by the Danish
Ministry of Culture exploring virtual sets. This research was done with
Svend Erik Søfeldt, Kim Halskov, Morten Lervig, Rune Nielsen and
I. A lot of modern TV production take advantage of virtual set design
which optimizes the workflow. Our aim was to look at the aesthetic potentials
of virtual sets which basically is a realtime mix between the real world
and 3D computer graphics. Apart from the research we held courses for
architect- and information/media science students during the year. |
