This is small project was done in 1999 just after I started using 3DstudioMax. I wanted to learn how to use camera tracking and recorded some DV footage at the parking lot behind the School of Architecture. I placed small red coca cola caps in the intersections of the parking lines and measured the space. I took that footage and tracked the caps and created a virtual camera that matched the real camera.
After that I came up with a quick idea showing that nuclear waste was being hidden under the school - not very ingenious but it was mostly a test to learn the tool. I did some simple modelling and some keyframing whereafter I rendered the animation and compisited the different layers using alpha channels.

The images to the right shows the different layers in the process and the final animation can be seen here (9mb)
