Kronjysk Steel is a company producing steel machinery for the food industry. They had problems explaining the complex functions of one of their products - the horizontal process tank - and I was asked to visualize this in a director presentation. I got 2D drawings of the tank and created a very precise nurbs model in rhino, which was exported to 3Dstudio. The brushed steel map was done using an anisotropic shader with a striped map in the shininess channel and a simple environment map in the reflection channel.
