This was the kick off workshop for the ischool project. The workshop was held at the møllevangskolen that had to be partly rebuild due to a huge fire.

Participants included teachers, industry partners and researchers who had to get started on the discussions on research and design for future school environments.

We tried to create a common platform by discussing and investigating how different spaces influenced social behaviour. This was done by dividing people into mixed groups giving them a "space" as their topic and a number of different actions and parameters that was influenced by being in that particular space.

One group could e.g. look at a camp fire and discuss how this space influenced conversation, movement, social behaviour and so on. Through these discussions the group should try and use some of these findings into a quick design of a future class room - not to design the best but to understand that space, behaviour and technology must go hand in hand.

The different proposals were presented to the entire workshop. Images of the sketches can be seen in the thumbs to the right.
