The Trekroner East workshop was lasting an entire week mixing people of all disciplines. Five groups each lead by a young architecture studio was working in parallel to develop an area just outside the city of Roskilde.

Jacob Blak and I represented kollision and was leading a group of 11 people. Most of these were not architects or designers but had an interrest and an expertise that could be used in the development of the new housing area that was going to be planned.

The group consisted of representatives from the planning department of Roskilde, a housing developmer, the nature conservancy association, the artistic environment, the local youth organisation, the town council, neighbours and students from the School of Architecture in Copenhagen and the School of Landscape Architecture in Copenhagen.

We were working very close together and had lots of discussions on the different perspectives we due to our different professions had on the task. We did a common registration on the site , and started working on different concepts which were combined by the metaphor of a path that could hold all the different concepts bringing the various perspectives together in the proces . These were developed into diagrames and later an overall concept that continuous during the workshop week were presented for the local inhabitants in Trekroner East. The overall concept was made more concrete the participants of the workshop describing the different parts of the suggested path.

After a successful final presentation every leader of each workshop group was asked to develop the project further and present a skecth project for the municipality of roskilde.
