This is a videoprototype produced under the Workspace project in 2003. The idea about the video is showing and discussing new ways of teaching in the future technology supported school.
The story concept is developed by Kaj Grønbæk, Rune Nielsen and I. It is produced - as the images show - in a number of locations, but linking everything up through the virtual studio at CAVI.

The story is about a group of children working and collaborating on a biology project. They use the benefit of being able to work distributed on different parts of the project informing eachother on the fly. They use RFID tags to link physical samples to digital information, and present the projects as an advanced multimedia presentation.

The basic setup of this video is possible today, but a consistent framework is being developed at interactivespaces.

All 3D modelling, recordings and compositing is done by Rune Nielsen and I - speak is written by Kaj Grønbæk and performed by Jens Emil Grønbæk.

The images are documenting the production proces in the virtual studio and the last thumb contains the entire video here (83mb).
