This floor concept was developed after the work and discussions we have made and had at interactivespaces on floor interaction - especially within the ifloor project ibib and the cubeSearch concept under ibbib.
The idea is to use bodily gesture interaction tracked by a cieling mounted video tracking system. In this case the user is investigating a world map by paning, placing a pivot point and scaling the map with his hands. I might develop the concept further by introducing rotations (thanks for the idea martin) and selections.
However this is still just a video prototype but I hope the concept can be proved by a simple flash setup in our studio at interactivespaces - so come back later.....
