The ip-firefighter project is testing a prototype of a new firefighter suite that monitors the pulse, heartbeat and temperature of the firefighter wearing the suite. That way people outside the scene of action can check up on the firefighters in action. Innovationlab and Falck are the main companies of the project. Through a freelance commision given by CAVI I was asked to create and design a mockup interface for the ip-firefighter software. This was to be used in a video prototype where the actual suite was tested. The job consisted of an interface design running in director and 3D modelling of the scene of action as well as a firefighter character. This was done in 3Dstudio using simple box modelling and later keyframe animating the different snippets for the director mockup. link : http://www.innovationlab.net
